Our Story

Still & Oak began with a simple idea: that the furniture we live with should age as gracefully as the people who use it. We design sofas and seating for slow living — pieces built around the rituals of reading, resting, and conversation.

Every frame is cut from FSC-certified solid oak, then fitted with high-resilience foam wrapped in down for a seat that gives without collapsing. Upholstery options run to sun-resistant Belgian linens and brushed cotton-linen blends in a palette of faded mineral and earth tones, selected to age gracefully rather than stay pristine.

Our Values

We are committed to craftsmanship, sustainability, and honest design. Loose covers are fully removable for professional cleaning or casual line-drying; frames are joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and finished with a natural hardwax oil. All pieces ship flat-packed with clear, tool-light assembly instructions and arrive in plastic-free packaging.

From the first sketch to the final stitch, every detail is considered. Our collection includes low-profile sofas, deep reading chairs, and modular sectionals that can be reconfigured as rooms change. We believe furniture should be flexible, durable, and beautiful in equal measure.
